Why I wrote "A Children's Guide To Rabbits with Radar and Jupiter"

When I got my two rabbits, Radar and Jupiter, I wanted to know how to keep them healthy and happy. I found lots of information about how to keep rabbits healthy but not enough about how to keep them happy. Now, with this book, information about both is available in one place. Most of what I write in my book comes from my experience looking after my rabbits. One thing that makes this book unusual is that it is written for children and by a child. There are many books about what to feed a rabbit and how to keep it healthy but no book includes the joyous experience of seeing your rabbit so happy to have fresh hay or some yummy greens. It is heartwarming when they run to you just to sniff your shoes to see how you are. This is beyond most rabbit guides. My book also includes an imaginative fictional story about what happened when my rabbits got out of the back yard and went sight-seeing.

A Summary - "Radar and Jupiter and Their Capilano Back Yard Adventures"

Radar and Jupiter were the best of friends, until the struggle for power tore their friendship apart. In this story book, two rabbits escape out of their own back yard and go on an adventure to rebuild their trust and learn to believe in one another. They will face terrifying heights and their greatest fears, but the only way they can keep going is if they do it together.

Ever wonder what a day in the life of a rabbit is like? Read more about Radar and Jupiter's daily life in, "Getting to Know the Real Radar and Jupiter." Also see what knowledge Angelina has acquired from looking after her rabbits in, "What I Have Learned from My Rabbits."
