Young Author Invites Children to Learn the "ABCs of Rabbit Care"

Vancouver, B.C. - January 31, 2017 -

Fifteen-year-old Angelina Sommer invites you to learn more about how to feed, clean, handle and understand your rabbit. In her book, "A Children's Guide to Rabbits with Radar and Jupiter and Their Capilano Back Yard Adventures," you will learn what foods a rabbit should and shouldn't eat, how to make your back yard or your home into a perfect place for your rabbit, and how to create a balanced and happy life for your rabbit. It also includes some instructions on how to grow your own rabbit food.

A large part of having a rabbit is training it to understand and trust you. This book talks about Angelina's experiences with her two rabbits, how they see her, how she interacts with them and how she trains them to trust her. You can have a good relationship with your rabbit. It just takes time and effort, and with this book you will have the steps to achieve that relationship.

When Angelina was trying to learn about her rabbits, she needed a book that could teach her about taking care of them, but no such book was available. So Angelina wrote her own book. This unique book is a resource for children, by a child.

Angelina also wrote a children's adventure story about her two rabbits called "Radar and Jupiter and Their Capilano Back Yard Adventures." In the story, Radar and Jupiter face terrifying heights and their greatest fears, but the only way they can keep going on their journey is if they do it together. This story is included in Angelina's guide about rabbit care called "A Children's Guide to Rabbits with Radar and Jupiter and Their Capilano Back Yard Adventures."

Angelina Sommer is a grade ten student at Carson Graham Secondary. She lives in North Vancouver, British Columbia. She writes in her free time and takes English grammar lessons.
